Michael Lorente is High School Administrator and also the director of the Tailored Educational Program and Head Basketball Coach.
He comes to CCS with a wealth of education and experience. He holds a Master of Arts Degree in Education and a Master of Arts Degree in Kinesiology, Single Subject Teaching Credential in Physical Education and a Bachelor of Science in Recreation Administration.
Coach Lorente has nearly 20 years of teaching and coaching experience, recently serving as Associate Head Men’s Basketball Coach and Adjunct Kinesiology Professor at American River College since 2013. Simultaneously, he served as PE teacher and Department Chair for Fortune Schools and St. Hope Public Schools. Coach Lorente also enjoyed coaching stints at Cosumnes River College, Rocklin High School, and Capital Christian School.
He enjoys spending time with his wife, Andrea, and their two children Santino and Valentina, who both attend CCS. His favorite activities are mostly outdoor recreation with his family: swimming, boating, fishing, hunting, hiking, rafting, and camping.
