“The relationships I form with my students is what I value most about being a teacher. I want every one of my students to feel valued, known and appreciated for who they are here at Capital. I love that I get to share my love for math and science with them and Teach in a way that honors God as our creator. I love that I get to help expose the order found in creation both in my Algebra 2 classes and my Anatomy and Physiology classes.”

Education and Experience: BS in Kinesiology from Cal Poly. California teaching credential from San Jose State University. Experience working in physical therapy clinics as well as teaching math and science at The King’s Academy and Los Altos High School in the Bay Area.

Favorite verse:
“He has shown you, O mortal, what is good.
And what does the Lord require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy
and to walk humbly[a] with your God.” Micah 6:8 (named her son after it!)
