Coach, Head Volleyball Coach(Education: - Graduated from Tom C. Clark High School in San Antonio, TX (2017). - Attended St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, TX (2017-2018). - Transferred to American River College in Sacramento, CA to further focus on my education. Earned my Associates Degree in English. (2018-2020). - Transferring to California State University, Sacramento - where I currently study - to get my bachelors degree in English (2018-2021). This fall is the beginning of my Senior year. Experience: - Playing: I played volleyball competitively for 8 years, playing both club and school volleyball. I played for St. Mary’s University, a Division II school, in San Antonio, TX my Freshman year of college (2017-2018). - Coaching: Coached at Bella Vista High School for 3 years (2018-2021). I was the Men’s & Women’s JV coach for 2 years (2018-2020), then the Women’s Varsity/Head coach for 1 year (2020-2021).)
I became a coach to have a positive influence on young players. I remember every coach I’ve had in the past, but there were certain ones that really left their mark on me. I aspire to be the coach that my players remember the most. I want to encourage and motivate them, teach them leadership skills, and help their love for the game grow. Why Capital:

– I really enjoy other sports, such as golf, football, basketball, and baseball.
– I am pursuing a degree in English to become a High School English teacher.
– I love writing.
– I’ve lived in 7 different states. Out of all of them, Texas is home to me.
– I love the outdoors (hiking, fishing, skiing, etc.).
