Mrs. Valdez teaches HS Art 1, 2, 3, & AP Art and Design Teacher, Yearbook Advisor. Her education includes a double major in Fine Art and English. Professional Clear California Teaching Credential: Art, English, Social Studies and an ELL Lifetime Certificate. She taught in public school for 10 years before coming to CCS in 2007. She has been teaching for over twenty years. Mrs. Valdez has been married to her wonderful husband since 1997. She has two daughters, both lifers. Her oldest is in college, and her youngest attends CCHS.

Her favorite verse is Jeremiah 29:11 (her wedding verse) and Hebrews Chapter 11. Her hobbies are creating art, reading, and cooking.
